La preuve par l’image… Science in all its forms

Looking at science through a different lens, using images instead of words. The original idea was launched in 2010 by Acfas through its La preuve par l’image contest. This contest is devoted to images of scientific research in all fields of study. In 2016, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) collaborated with Acfas to open up the contest to candidates across Canada. Science Exposed is the English version of the contest. As an organization that celebrates life and nature, Espace pour la vie has chosen to display 20 images from the 2024 edition—images that reveal a world of surprising complexity and stunning beauty.

All the images are exposed in front of the Biodôme. Look closely at these true works of scientific art as seen through the eyes of researchers and choose your favourite image by voting for the Découverte People’s Choice Award, sponsored by Radio-Canada, before September 22!
